Recently, a colleague showed me a video from his unborn daughter’s ultrasound. He was sharing his joy, and I couldn’t help but think—men form bonds with their children differently than women do. For a mother, the child is literally a part of her. For a father, it’s a conscious choice: “I take responsibility for you because I want to.”
